Biere De Garde

Medium to lean bodied Amber Ale. Inspired by French farmhouse ale traditions, the Biere De Garde gets its name from storing (Garde-ing) the beer. This results in a well rounded Amber ale, like a Saison but with more malt character. Our 2023 Vintage won a Gold Medal at the Australian International Beer Awards and in 2025 we were awarded Trophy for Best Artistic Beer Label at the Royal Queensland Beer Awards.

Introducing the Artist, Anita Laurence - who is a dear friend of ours and we love her artwork! 'Can' you tell? Creating with many mediums Anita brings inspiration from her strong connection to the many landscapes called home including King Valley, Victoria. Although inspiration for this special linocut Paradise originated in Tasmania, it resonated with us by way of its rolling hills, varying crops and tiny farmhouses.
